New Kitchen-Aid

Saturday was a pretty relaxed day. We played and played. Justin's boss got him a Kitchen-Aid. Talk about spoiled! It was also the Garmans anniversary. Happy Anniversary guys! Love you both and I'm so proud of you guys! 11 years is something to be proud of for sure! My parents were going to come over but my Mom forgot she had some calls to make so my Dad came over and brought my nephews. We had a great time with them.

Friday after work we went to the Garmans and picked up Gusano's pizza on the way. We love Gusano's!
The Garmans had picked up Justins birthday treat-cupcakes from a cupcakery in Joplin. We took one of each and split it 4 ways so we could try all of them. The girls played dress up for quite a while. They LOVED dressing Sky up. She didn't seem to mind either.

My friend Brooke gave me a pair of fun shoes. They were Laney's. I've not had fun shoes since I was little and I forgot how different it makes you feel. I love them. Thanks Brooke and Laney!

Sunday was a fabulous day! We had a great morning at church. Paili helped me in the 2's and 3's class. She said she liked helping in Sky's age group more. I don't blame her. I do too! I think probably just because of Sky though. We had family dinner on Sunday afternoon. Lee, Jenny, and her 3 came and ate too. Mom made a fantastic dinner. It was so good. Thanks Mom!

Saturday was sweet Evolets first birthday! I can't believe she's 1 already! We had so much fun enjoying her first birthday party. I hated that we weren't able to stay for the whole evening but we had planned to go to the Garmans. Paola and I are getting better at communicating. She's only been in the US for just over a year and has made tremendous improvements in learning English. We still use a lot of gestures to communicate but it works for us. I've watched Junior grow up into such a wonderful Daddy and husband. I'm proud of them for working so hard on their marriage. Nobody ever said marriage was easy!
